DISCLAIMER:  Overwatch Solutions are an approved organisation, whose assessors are registered with Port and Crane Academy of New Zealand (PCANZ)  Learners are enrolled with PCANZ and are assessed by our PCANZ registered assessors  Results are reported to NZQA by PCANZ and recorded on learners’ New Zealand Record of Achievement (NZROA) ATTENDANCE NUMBERS:  Min 4  Max 8 DURATION:  8 hours PURPOSE: This course is designed to cover the essential knowledge and skills needed to work safely at heights. Participants will gain an understanding of the legislative requirements associated with working at heights, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, relevant regulations, and approved codes of practice. The course explores various height safety systems and teaches participants to identify and control common hazards related to working at heights. Upon completion of the course, participants will be knowledgeable in best practices for preventing falls and ensuring a safe work environment when operating at heights. LEARNING OUTCOMES:  Explain the legislative requirements associated with working at heights  Explain the systems suitable for working at heights QUALIFICATION/S:  17600 - Explain safe work practices for working at heights PREREQUISITE: If you did not complete your original training with Overwatch Solutions then we will require evidence of competency.
