DISCLAIMER:  Overwatch Solutions are an approved organisation, whose assessors are registered with Port and Crane Academy of New Zealand (PCANZ)  Learners are enrolled with PCANZ and are assessed by our PCANZ registered assessors  Results are reported to NZQA by PCANZ and recorded on learners’ New Zealand Record of Achievement (NZROA) ATTENDANCE NUMBERS:  Min 4  Max 8 DURATION:  8 hours PURPOSE: Our working at heights course covers the selection and safe use of height safety equipment, including harness systems and fall prevention gear. Our interactive practical scenarios will cover subjects such as fall arrest, work positioning and restraint, and how to develop a basic rescue plan. We also cover common working at height risks across real workplaces, including scaffolds, mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), ladders, guardrails, walkways, ramps and stairways. LEARNING OUTCOMES:  Demonstrate knowledge of hazards associated with wearing a safety harness and associated equipment  Demonstrate knowledge of safety harnesses and associated systems and equipment  Check and fit a safety harness system  Use a safety harness system where a fall hazard exists at height  Demonstrate knowledge of the rescue plan to be activated in the event of a fall QUALIFICATION:  23229 - Use a safety harness for personal fall prevention when working at height COSTS:  $350 (Ex GST) p/p Note: Company booked course establishment fees apply:  Less than 2 hrs return travel $150.00/ day  Greater than 2 hrs return travel $300.00/ day  Greater than 4 hrs return travel $1.26/ km
